The beginning - ONE OK ROCK

Best way to start is from the beginning, so today I'm going to talk about "The beginning" by ONE OK ROCK.

This is a song that was published on 2012, but I discovered it around 2014. It is a very significant song for me, since it came at the right time and stayed with me for long long years. I might sound too romantic with this, but I am serious when I say that this song took a bit of myself. I made that song a part of my life, and I can confidently say that The Beginning is a song that represents me.

As you can see, it named this blog. The first sentence of the song is "Just give me a reason to keep my heart beating", which make my blog title and my link name. That sentence described perfectly how I felt when I found the song, completely lost and without any reason to live. That's why I fell hard for this song. Because it was energetic yet still showed my worries in one simple sentence.

I do not listen to it anymore, because I have a whole world filled with many pieces and songs. Still, I used to listen to it like crazy back then, and I have conserved the memory of the song as a part of myself, as a part of my past. I didn't know it then, but the lyrics where describing how my future was going to be. It said "it finally beings". Indeed, it was a journey full of hardships, but worth going through.
